We are honored to have been a part of the WPAFB Hangar renovation/restoration project that won Best Project: Renovation/Restoration for the ENR Midwest 2022 competition. Foundation Steel fabricated and installed the primary, secondary, and misc metals to convert the WPAFB Hangar into an executive office with the renovation of 37k sf and a new second floor within the open hangar. It was imperative that we maintained the hangar’s WWII era structure, features, and aesthetics to stay eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Well done everyone.
